About me . . . 

       I'm classically trained pianist and attorney, but on stage its all about the Blues.  The Blues give Heartache a home where Laughter and Liquor are always there to lend an ear.  I write  . . . because everything comes from the Blues.  I listen . . . because how else can you learn?   My first and primary instrument is Piano but I took up bass a few years ago to play "something I can hold," I sing  . . . because sometimes you got to talk it out.    You'll see  me  with my blues band,  "Go for Broke" sitting in with other bands such as The Randy Lippincott Band and Paul Michael and The Blues Recruits, and I visit open mics, sometimes just to listen, most times to play.  Not restricted to the practice of law, I also own and operate Old Money Music, a music services company which includes Chestnut Bur Music Publishing (ASCAP) and Sleeping Porch Music Publishing (BMI). I'm an ASCAP songwriter, an Associate Member of The Recording Academy (GRAMMY's), a Member of the Philadelphia Songwriter's Project, and a Professional Member of the National Academy of Popular Music (Songwriter's Hall of  Fame) and the Sports and Entertainment Law Section of the New York Bar Association. 

Since going out on my own,  I have rekindled relationships with and met some incredible musicians, artists, publishers, DJ's, filmmakers, producers, promoters, etc.  from the legends and pros to folks just starting out.
